Vineyards of Azienda Agricola Comparini are located to the southeast of Empoli, covering 12 hectares. Historical documents dating back to 1770 describe this area as already dedicated to the cultivation of vines. The production approach seeks to maximize the vineyard's potential while allowing for the variability associated with the harvest. The wine matures in barrels for 18-20 months before bottling and ages in bottles for 1 year before release.
Grapes harvested from the vineyards of this winery are used to produce “Le Pietrine IGT Toscana”, “Rinnegato IGT”, “Poggimele IGT Sangiovese” and “Caccialepre Bianco di Toscana IGT”. Only 10,000-12,000 bottles are made each year from the best grapes.
